Sally Flatteau Taylor
Sally Flatteau Taylor has been painting for four years, drawn initially by a desire to capture Whitstable sunrises. She is inspired by Anne Anche, a female artist working with light, which tells you something about what she is reaching for in her own work: that particular quality of early morning on the water that most people see once and forget, and she is trying to hold onto.
She describes herself as a little better than when she started, which may be the most understated self-assessment in the whole collective.
